Guitar Lessons in your home

Hi there,

My name is Ryan, I'm a guitarist/musician living in the neighborhood for about a year now. I have 8 years of experience teaching guitar lessons to mostly kids, sometimes adults.
I have a Master of Music from Manhattan School of Music. As a performing musician, I play mostly jazz, but I enjoy listening to, and teaching all genres of music.

My teaching style is very laid back and relaxed. Most lessons consist of showing students songs they want to learn, while providing basic fundamentals of music.
Through my experience as a teacher I've learned that every student has a unique set of interests, and abilities, and that it's more important to teach the student rather than merely the
subject.

While I realize most students don't have aspirations of becoming professional musicians, I hope that through the lessons the student will be able to take away an appreciation for the joy of making music.
