Guest Lecturer: Assemblyman Jim Brennan
The Sisterhood of Temple Beth Emeth is proud to present Assembly person Jim Brennan as our fall kickoff speaker. Please join us for brunch at 10:00AM on Saturday, September 25th and then enjoy our featured speaker. Serving twenty four years in the Assembly, Brennan has forged a reputation as an independent reform-minded legislator. It is a difficult time to be an Albany politician but Jim has continued to be able to hold his head high instead of covering it in a perp walk. With a new governor coming in all eyes will be on our state government hoping to see institutional sized changes. Transparency, fiscal responsibility, rooting out corruption; these are some of the issues we'll hear about during what is sure to be an informative morning. Brunch - 10:00 am in the Temple Banquet Room.
