Successful preparedness program!!

The Personal Disaster Preparedness Presentation given this past Sunday afternoon at the Concert Hall of the Flatbush Tompkins Congregational Church (NOT the sanctuary) was terrific. The audience learned a great deal of practical information about evacuating when necessary and sheltering in place when possible.
If you happened to miss it, a new and improved (enhanced?) version will be given at the same location on October 23rd. SPREAD THE WORD AND Put it on your calendar.

We dodged a bullet when Hurricane Fiona stayed out to sea before slamming into the Atlantic provinces of Canada causing enormous and unexpected damage.
Hurricane Ian is still well south of us but, after plowing across Florida with devastating effect, could still move up the coast and impact this area. Be prepared for the worst.
