Almac Hardware is closing

Almac Hardware, at 2 Newkirk Plaza, after umpteen years in this neighborhood, is closing its in-store retail business at the end of the month (and is having a deep discount clearance sale).
They will continue to operate their handyman services from another location nearby and plan also to sell on-line through a website.

Their current website address is www.almachardware.com.

We hate to see them go.
Drop by for some final shopping and to say farewell.

Summer Camp runs from July 6 - August 19, 2022

DETAILS:                   The NYC Parks Summer Day Camp program is an exciting chance for children ages 6 to 13 to have a fun-filled summer! Campers engage in sports, fitness, and outdoor adventures while taking part in many of New York City's rich cultural and educational opportunities.

Activities include arts and crafts, field games, sports clinics, computer classes, STEAM programs (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics), cultural and educational trips, and nature exploration with the Urban Park Rangers. Specific activities, dates, and trip destinations will depend upon the camp location. Currently, swimming is not a guaranteed activity for NYC Parks Summer Camp.

Our summer camp program is extremely popular, and in order to make sure that we can accommodate children as fairly as possible, registration is conducted through a lottery.

Extended Day Camp (8 a.m. - 6 p.m., Monday - Friday) Cost: $575 per child for seven weeks
