·        Unemployment is at an all time high.

·        Rents rise as housing conditions worsen.

·        Hard-working families fear deportation.

·        The health care system is failing us, and costs continue to rise.

 

Guest Speaker: Heather C. McGhee

Director of the DC Office of Demos (A non-partisan policy center)

Heather's writing and research on debt, financial services regulation, retirement and inequality have appeared in numerous outlets, including the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, the Detroit Free-Press and CNN.

 

We will have a mix of presentations and interactive dialogue.

 

 

 

Sunday October 30th

4pm – 7:30pm

Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd

7420 Fourth Ave. in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn

(R train to 77th St.)
