Feraba - A.R.T. SUMMER CAMP - July 5- July 22, 2011


 

Who we are:

Féraba-A.R.T. is a Brooklyn (Ditmas Park) based multi-ethnic and multi cultural performance group fusing Tap dance with West African dance/music.

All members are professional performers and teachers, well experienced working with inner city youth.

-Ibrahima Camara (West African percussion instructor-Guinea),
-Andy Algire (West African percussion instructor-USA).

 

Camp Location:

Beautiful huge space at the Flatbush Presbyterian Church

494 East 23rd Street, Brooklyn, NY 11226-7507 at the corner of Foster Ave

 

Camp hours:

Monday to Friday: July 5th - July 22nd, 2011

9am to 3pm

 

Camp Activities:

Daily training in Tap Dance, African Dance and West African drumming -

Performance on the last day of the camp

Tuition:

$480.- 3 weeks of camp plus free CD: Rhythms from Guinea Vol.1.

$20: African Dance outfit
