Yesterday, a stray Pit Bull made my back yard his/her home. After trying to find his owner and contacting several Rescue Shelters, Animal Care & Control picked him up. I live near East 19th St, between Glenwood Road and Ave H, if you think you know who this dog is, contact ACC, ACC updates their lost animal database regularly, you can check online. I don't have a good pic, but he was dark brown with light brown stripes. Email me Aviva1on1@aol.com, if you want to see the photo.
To claim a lost pet at ACC, you must go to the Care Center (the one in Brooklyn is at 2336 Linden Boulevard) and bring proof of ownership, such as a photo of the pet or a veterinarian record.
