With Amanda Miller
Saturday, November 19th
3.00pm – 5.00pm
1224 Prospect Ave.
Brooklyn, NY 11218
Price: $25

The class begins with meditative centering and breathing exercises and proceeds to a gentle dynamic flow warming all parts of the body though inviting awareness while focusing on the rhythm of the breath. The class continues with passive and quietly active postures which are held for a moment, allowing introspection and deep relaxation with body awareness. The class concludes with a final relaxation using visualization as a powerful meditation technique.
Restorative yoga helps reduce anxiety, fear and stress levels, all known to have a negative impact on the body.  If you have a yoga mat, please bring it!

  1. In the first episode of Namaste Yoga we explore the theme of our relationship to our own bodies. This practice asks you, "What kind of relationship do you have with your body? What does your body have to say?" The idea is that if your body is one of the greatest sources of wisdom available to you, what kind of relationship to you have with your body?namaste yoga
