1 spot just opened in 2 yr old cooperative pre-school!

I recently joined a coop play school on Cortelyou and Marlborough Road.

It's the whole downstairs floor of a beautiful Victorian house. The

teacher is wonderful, her methods are a combination of Montessori and

Waldorf techniques (not a purist!.) She's very creative and very

musical (lots of singing!). The kids do a lot of art projects, free

play, puppets and dress up, movement and dancing, story time, puzzles, go out in the yard, have a healthy snack and so much more. There was an adjustment period for all the kids (and parents), but they are now in the groove of school and all are really loving it and getting so much out of it.

 

 The school was started this Fall and our group of 2 year-olds (new 2s

or turning 2s) runs Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 3:00-6:00 PM

for the school year, following the public school calendar (with

regular holidays.) We currently have 1 space in our group, which

would total 8 children once the space is filled.

 

If you are or someone you know who would like to get their toddler

into more group activities in the afternoons, please feel contact me

 The cost is quite reasonable, obviously the more kids we have, the

more economical it is for everyone.

 

 There is some parental time commitment, but its pretty light since the

groups are rather robust.
