Looking for an apartment

Hey there lucky people who live in Ditmas Park.

My husband and two children and I are looking for an apartment in Ditmas Park. We’ve been in Park Slope for almost 10 years and now we need more space and a little bit more peace and quiet.  Our children go to The Brooklyn School of Inquiry and I’ve heard that there are several families from the school who live in Ditmas Park as well, which only adds to its appeal.  So if anyone has any inside word or advice about how best to find apartment in the area I’d love some advice.  We’re looking for a three bedroom, would like to be close to Cortelyou, but we’re flexible.  Just love the village feel of the neighborhood.  So send a note if you have any ideas or helpful hints about how to get a spot for a young family eager to move into your awesome neighborhood.
