In search of a place to call home ...

I am planning to move back to Ditmas Park & need some leads. Ideally, I would love to make my new home in a private house with some porch or backyard access. I come with excellent references from past & current landlords. The purpose of the Ditmas Rides is for us to have fun and to celebrate and spread a way of getting around we already enjoy. I myself are planning to bring my daughter Nona Lily along and hope that other parents will bring their children as well.

Full sized bed with storage & mattress for sale

I have a full sized, IKEA Mandal solid pine platform bed for sale with 4 black, large storage drawers. $200 OBO. Also for sale is the firm mattress I bought to go with it. Both are less than 1 year old. I am moving out of state and selling most of my furniture. I will see the mattress for $100.   I also have an air conditioner for sale-$100. Looking for a Quiet 1-Bedroom

My girlfriend and I are quiet, responsible, graduate students looking for a quiet 1-bedroom in the neighborhood. We've been living in the neighborhood for 4 years, and we recently moved to a new place in the neighborhood, but it's just too loud for us. It's a great location, and great rent (1050), but we need something quieter. We're flexible with move dates, and all of that, and aren't in a rush to move (so if you have a vacancy in the future, we're happy to meet now), but we thought we'd start looking. Bamboo

Apt-Sized Tall Fridge Advice?

We are new to New York/Brooklyn and hoping to update our kitchen with one of the tall (~80 in height) refrigerators, which seem to be specifically made/sold in and around New York city.

Does anyone have advice on the best model (LG, Summit, etc) to buy and the best place to buy one? We have been looking online and are a bit frustrated. In-store touring has provided only very limited options. But, again, we are new to the area and may be looking in the wrong places.

Does anyone have great experience purchasing one of these slim fridges who is willing to share where they purchased it? I'm not looking for general advice on appliance stores; only advice on where to buy this specific style of fridge.
