$804, Short-term roommate, BIG 2 BR - option to take lease (Ditmas Park)

I'm a woman in my 30s, looking for a short-term roommate to share my large 2BR in Ditmas Park, Brooklyn on E. 19th St and Cortelyou Rd.

The room is available immediately through September 30 or any portion of that. I am moving on Oct. 1. You could apply to take over the lease at that time if you're interested.

Your rent would be $804 plus gas and electric. You can share internet if you want ($15 - $25 each per month), but no obligation.

The apartment is off Cortelyou Road, 3 blocks from the Cortelyou Road Q and B train station approximately 30 minutes to Union Sq. on the Q train, 30 minutes to E. 4th on the B (runs weekdays only). 10 minute walk, or 3 minute subway ride, to Prospect Park via the stately Victorian homes and tree-lined streets of Victorian Flatbush.

Close to Cortelyou Road's burgeoning restaurant and bar scene – great food, live music, nice people. Diverse neighborhood with a good sense of community. For groceries a Super Stop and Shop is in walking distance, Met Foods, two natural food stores and a weekly, year-round farmers market. Two CSA farmshares are available in the neighborhood.

I have three well-behaved cats, so you should be comfortable with cats. I'm sorry but I can't take other cats or dogs.

The room:
• Good size, 13.5' x 12'
• Windows on two walls. (You can remove the red curtains left by a previous roommate – unless you like them.)
• Decent-size closet
• Possibility to use futon bed and desk that are there

The apartment:
• Very large apartment with big, sunny living room, eat-in kitchen
• Several closets.
• Dark hardwood floors in living room and bedroom.

You are:
• Considerate about noise and don't blast your stereo or TV
• Clean in the common areas and will share in cleaning and chores
• Someone who likes cats
• A non-smoker
