We are a young married couple (is 30-ish young?) looking for a 1.5 bedroom apartment to move for August 1st. In our wildest dreams, we are looking for a 2br floor of a beautiful Victorian home, complete with a front porch and garden. In our most realistic dreams, we would like a very spacious one bedroom apartment near the train.
We are hoping that moving to Ditmas will "take us out of New York City," both in terms of pace-of-life and the financial drain of high rent. We both have careers in the television industry, so we are hoping to find a place that we can really make into our home while we save for a down payment on an actual house somewhere.
