FEELING ADVENTUROUS? JOIN NYC PARKS AND OUTSIDE FOR A FULL DAY OF OUTDOOR FUN AT ADVENTURES NYC IN CENTRAL PARK  

 

DATE:                        Saturday, June 18, 2022 

 

TIME:                          11 a.m. – 4 p.m. 

 

LOCATION:               Central Park 

The Bandshell (Enter at 72nd St.) 

MANHATTAN 

 

EVENT:                      Zip line, rock climb, and paddleboard right in the heart of New York City! NYC Parks and Outside will transform Central Park into the nation's largest urban playground at the annual Adventures NYC Festival. Join us to celebrate the great outdoors and enjoy a day of adventure in Central Park., with free activities for all ages and skill levels. 

 

DETAILS:                   Back after a two-year hiatus, Adventures NYC will once again provide New Yorkers with an opportunity to engage in some FREE outdoor fun.  

 

Adventures NYC, hosted in Central Park, features free activities including: 

- Rock Climbing 

- Zip Lining 

Archery  

Stand-Up Paddleboarding 

Obstacle Course 

Dance and Fitness 

 

Tickets: Most activities do not require tickets; however, to avoid long wait times for Zip Lining and Stand-Up Paddleboarding, a limited number of passes with assigned time slots will be given out at 11 a.m. Passes are free and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.  

 

Waivers: NYC Parks will require waivers for certain activities. Young adults under 18 years old must have a legal guardian present to sign the waiver.  

 

Please note, lines are subject to close early to ensure that the event ends at 4p.m.
