NYC PARKS PRESENTS URBAN WILDLIFE FESTIVAL IN HIGHBRIDGE PARK
Marks the first public event celebrating the Urban Park Rangers’ 40th anniversary

DETAILS: Get up close and personal with NYC's wildlife residents. Learn about squirrels, turtles, skunks, urban birds, and more. You’ll also be able to see various tortoises, raptors, a skunk, a porcupine, and an opossum.
Walk away with knowledge about the best places to see wildlife in New York City and how to safely interact with them. You’ll also learn more from New York State licensed rehabilitators and additional wildlife enthusiasts.
The Urban Park Rangers have been connecting New Yorkers to the natural world since 1979. This year we’re celebrating 40 years of their public service with a full slate of events, commencing with this year’s Urban Wildlife Festival.
