Street Games' features classic throwback outdoor activities: stickball, double-dutch and more

DETAILS:                   At NYC Parks' Street Games, kids of all ages revisit the days when boxcar derbies, stickball, pogo sticks, double-dutch and street hockey were all the rage. In its 12^th year, this free event re-introduces classic games enjoyed by past generations to a new generation of kids.

   

                                    Street Games, presented by Disney, inspires kids to take a break from electronics and get up, get outside, and get active. All are encouraged to try their hand at wheelchair basketball, flag football and handball, while learning to skate and DJ. The event will include live music, and performances by the Dance Theatre of Harlem and break-dancers.
