DETAILS:                   Face off in NYC's ultimate summer competition!  NYC Parks invites you to join us for a volleyball tournament on beautiful Coney Island Beach.

The Tournament is a two-day competition.  On Saturday, August 8, players face off in the preliminaries. Divisions include: Co-Ed Quads (4/team), Women's Doubles (2/team), Men's Doubles (2/team) and a Co-Ed Quad Junior division for kids 15 and under. There will also be two Learn to Play clinics for beginners who want basic volleyball instruction.  Winners from the divisions go to the championship on Sunday, August 9, so players must be prepared to play on both days.  Event is rain or shine.

Registration goes live at nycbeachvolleyball.eventbrite.com from July 17 - August 4.  Players can register individually or in groups.  Bring friends!  Spectators are welcome.

The tournament is presented by NYC Parks in cooperation with the Garden Empire Volleyball Association (GEVA).
