The Personal Disaster Preparedness Presentation given last month at the Concert Hall of the Flatbush Tompkins Congregational Church was terrific. Those in attendance lerned a great deal of practial information about evacuating when necessary and sheltering in place when possible.
THE PRESENTATION IS BEING REPEATED THIS COMING SUNDAY!.
We have seen what Hurricane Fiona did to Puerto Rico and what Hurricane Ian did to Florida and South Carolina, and many of us remember what Super Storm Sandy did to Brooklyn just ten years ago. It is really important for all of us to learn how to prepare for such emergencies before they happen so that we can respond appropriately when they do happen.
