JOIN NYC PARKS GREENTHUMB FOR PART 1 OF THE 38TH ANNUAL GROWTOGETHER CONFERENCE -- A VIRTUAL EXPERIENCE 


Free weeklong virtual conference will consist of multiple gardening lectures, talks, tutorials, and more!  


Part I takes place virtually February 19 - 25;  Part 2 will be in-person at community gardens around the city in April as part of Earth Week – stay tuned for more details

DETAILS:                   NYC Parks GreenThumb is proud to present the 38th annual GrowTogether Conference, going virtual again after a successful digital conference last year, and featuring a series of conferences and lectures open to the public.  

 

The 38th Annual GreenThumb GrowTogether Conference is planned as a two-part series: virtual panels and webinars will be hosted for a week in February, and hands-on workshops and activities will take place in-person this April in multiple community gardens. All activities are free and open to the public.

                                    Noon – 1:30 p.m.: How to Join a Community Garden  

 

                                    2 – 3 p.m.: Flowers! Urban How To

                                    Noon – 1 p.m.: Bringing the Green: Crowdfunding for Community Gardens 

 

                                    1 – 2 p.m.: Compost Systems of All Shapes and Sizes 

 

                                    6 – 7 p.m.: Greening Partners Virtual Tabling

                                    Noon – 1 p.m.: Growing Healthy Soils
