SHE'S ON POINT! NYC PARKS CELEBRATES WOMEN IN SPORTS
DATES: March 2 - 30, 2019
DETAILS: All month, NYC Parks will be celebrating the incredible achievements of female athletes with She's On Point, a series of fun, free sports clinics at recreation centers across the five boroughs.
Through partnerships with local colleges and sports organizations, as well as the contributions of Parks public programming staff, a variety of sports clinics and demonstrations take place, from traditional to alternative sports. We also incorporate a speaking portion, where professional athletes and coaches are invited to talk about their pathways into a career in sports.

REGISTER FOR FOURTH ANNUAL NYC PARKS SENIOR GAMES AND JOIN A CLINIC TODAY!
Dozens of clinics offered at recreation centers across Brooklyn to prepare athletes for the week-long Senior Games competition in March

DATES: February 4 – March 8, 2019
DETAILS: NYC Parks’ Senior Games returns this spring with a week-long series of competitions for recreation center members 50 and older. Participation in the games is FREE with a membership to any of Parks’ recreation centers, but space is limited and registration is required. Senior Games will be held from May 6 through May 10.
And don’t miss out on the many opportunities to get competition-ready with clinics at recreation centers across Brooklyn. Center members planning to participate in the Games can practice their skills in basketball, bowling, cornhole, shuffleboard, swimming, pickleball and table tennis, Mondays through Fridays until the end of April.
