Brooklyn Museum Open Thursdays and Fridays Until 10 pm

The Brooklyn Museum is now open every Thursday and Friday evening until 10 p.m.  All galleries are open and there are public programs, most free with Museum admission.  March 10 offerings include a  Moonlight Tour in the Egyptian Galleries titled “Love in Ancient Egypt”, as well as Artist Lorna Simpson discussing her current Museum exhibition with Deborah Willis, Chair of the Department of Photography and Imaging at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. Tickets, which include Museum admission, are $10; $6 for members and cultural colleagues. Seating is limited, and advance ticket purchase is recommended at www.brownpapertickets.com.
