ADVENTURES NYC 2018— FREE OUTDOOR ADVENTURES IN CENTRAL PARK

EVENT: Adventure is calling; and NYC Parks invites you to answer the call as we transform Central Park into the nation's largest urban adventure playground at the 14th annual Adventures NYC Festival. The annual celebration provides New Yorkers with an opportunity to engage in some outdoor fun for FREE. Get out and get active, with activities for all ages and skill levels. Some of this year's activities will include:
· Zip lining;
· Log rolling;
· Stand-up paddle boarding;
· Rock climbing;
· and introducing futsal – a variation of soccer played on a hard court or surface.
Sponsors include 32 Degrees, Bassmaster, Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield, Vermont Department of Tourism and Marketing, Ski Vermont, Smugglers' Notch, Nike, New York Red Bulls, I LOVE NY, Honest Tea, Cabot, Zojirushi, Purity, RXBar, Whole Foods, Zico Coconut Water, Townsend's Brew Dr. Kombucha, Fjall Raven, Chameleon Cold Brew, and Teen Titans Go! Movies.

Waivers: NYC Parks will require waivers for certain activities. Young adults under 18 years old must have a legal guardian present to sign the waiver.
Please note, lines are subject to close early to ensure that the event ends at 4 p.m.
