A VERY SPECIAL PROSPECT/BROOKLYN/CROWN HEIGHTS NANNY AVAILABLE

Lydia came to us when our daughter was only five months old. As a first-time mom, she helped me through the transition of going back to work and the natural difficulty that I faced leaving my most precious person at home with a stranger. She quickly helped me to feel comfortable and secure and able to go to work and focus on a very hectic job without having to worry. This was not easy; we discovered early that our daughter has several very serious and life-threatening food allergies. As nerve-racking as this was for me, I never worried about her when she was with Lydia.

Lydia’s experience with the stages of development that babies and toddlers go through enabled her to handle her days with Zoe with ease. Every day, every project, every transition was embraced and welcomed. Her schedule was always full; whether she took our daughter to the playground, to music classes, and as she got older, to Prospect Park, to the Brooklyn Children's museum, they were always very busy. On the weekends when I took her to the playground myself, I was often stopped by other parents who recognized her, and told just how amazing Lydia was with her.

Now as our daughter approaches preschool, I come home every day to artwork, and practicing with letters and numbers, days of the week, months of the year, seasons. One of the most wonderful things about Lydia is that she shared her love of music with our daughter, who now knows all the words and sings us the most beautiful songs. Furthermore, Lydia’s work with her as she learned to talk was incredible. She is now an extraordinarily articulate child. We could not be happier with her development and we know how much Lydia’s work with her has given our little girl a solid foundation.

Although we write this letter with open hearts as we enter this next transition, we are also tremendously saddened at losing Lydia as a constant in our home. I am confident that she will find the right family; such a person does not happen upon the stages of their life by chance. Whoever is fortunate enough to have her will quickly understand this.
